Overview

Hostal El Oasis began renting rooms in 1994, the owner and his son Ricardo.Graduados Teresa both of Instututo of Hospitality and Tourism, we are cognizant of our rotation and be attentive to the needs of customers to provide excellent service quality .. They speak English, French and Italian.

There are accommodation facilities for children, limited physical engines and guests with pets. It also has a garage outside the house.

The Particular Ricardo and Teresa House is a colonial building of 1850, which has been remodeled with contemporary features to provide more comfort to the visitor. It has three rooms for rent. There is a large inner garden shaded by huge groves of fruit trees and passion fruit. The upper terrace is spacious with views of the mountains and the city. We binoculars for you to appreciate the scenery.

Special mention deserve the plants at the El Oasis. They have embraced the space and live in harmony with people. So much so that the garden has been awarded the title of Patio Double Excellence in Urban Agriculture in Cuba

That means you eat vegetables and fruits grown in the same house, 100% natural; and the people who attend are environmentalists and advocates of sustainable agriculture.
In the Hostal El Oasis you will be treated with Naturalness.
I hope!

TOO MANY ISSUES...

Comented Thu 04 Aug 2016

Don't recommend to other travelers

1.booked room for 5 people, though we were only 3.intention was for all of us to have an own bed to have a good rest- and the price was the same as for a room for 3 people! so the owner showed us the rooms and then later changed her mind and told us we cannot have the 2 rooms+that we have to share beds in one room - or to pay extra 25 cuc per night! not fair making up new prices after having booked here.anyway we didnt want any trouble + switched to 1 room. 2.no warm water:only the last day, when we came home wet+freezing from the mountains, and asked if there is hot water, they switched it on.then it was switched off again.thats not very respectful to guests.anyway,we accepted it. 3.the watermelon was rotten + we realized it too late as that melon was also mixed in a fruit juice. i got a painful stomach inflammation + had to go to the clinic in trinidad.they gave me antibiotics etc. + i was sick for half of our holiday.its a pity this all happened..but all together it left a bitter memory

Buenos dias

atentamente
Teresa

NICE PLACE

Comented Wed 06 Jan 2016

Recommend to other travelers

We stayed here three nights and there was everything you’d expect from a casa. teresa runs the hostal very much as a business, there is always someone on hand cleaning or cooking. you have to walk through the house to get to the rooms, which sometimes feels a little awkward, although everyone was friendly. our room was on the ground floor, which meant it was sometimes noisy in the morning when other guests were having breakfast or staff were sitting on the chairs outside, especially because there was no glass on the windows (only shutters). the shower wasn’t great but we didn’t come across many on the trip that were! the roof terrace is a definitely a highlight, lovely views and relaxing. you need a good head of heights to get up and down there though. there were two breakfast options - small or big. nothing special but still set you up for the day.

NICE CASA

Comented Mon 08 Jun 2015

Recommend to other travelers

Teresa had organized a peddling taxi to pick us up, which was very nice. her casa was probably the largest we'd been to with many rooms (almost like a motel) and they had a very large garden. breakfasts were yummy and i hear the lobster dinner was absolutely amazing. even without the lobster there was so much food, the rice and black bean dish was spectacular! our room had aircon and a fridge too which was handy (no tv if you wanted to know!). nicely located within walking distance of everything, no need to cab it once you're there. teresa is happy to call you taxis down to the the ancon beaches, which are beautiful and peaceful (perhaps it was the time of year we went). we found them very accommodating during our stay.
